Reports from another unnamed forum suggest it did open today.

Apparently only 1 computer on site.

Its possible they were too busy :whistling:

Post on another forum reports 4 hours for a 90 day report :omfg:

How can that be when the same said people use Kap Choeng and the place is never packed? Someones telling stories. Or are they having an opening sale?  rolleyes.gif

Yeah right.

Buriram  immigration office is up and running (of sorts).

Go to KCI and you will be told in no uncertain terms to bugger off to BII. (it happened today).

Thais couldn't organise a p*** up in a brewery. This reminds me of when they closed the office at Chok Chai and moved to the Pottery Village. No final closing date and just a message posted on the door as to the new location.

@ sinbin.

Seriously, 1 computer on site and queue numbers don't seem to count.

"There were only 3 farang in front of my number, however, they accepted an agent bringing in about 15 " students " who were all processed before us. And it is true they only have 1 computer to work with."

Unfortunately I cannot name where the above came from. But it is a local to Buriram Forum.

3 months they've been getting this office ready. How long does it take to take 3-4 computers from KC and set them up? Obviously longer than 3 months.  cheesyrdn2.gif

And what are people doing 90 day reports for in person  ?  deadhorse.gif

Looks like you found the other forum sinbin.

So you would have seen these as well ......

"Just an update, went to Buriram immigration at 09:45 and did not get processed until 12:10"

"Got a report that XXXXX did his 90 day report Monday, he arrived 0830 and was done by 1230"

Did my extension today. Contrary to others, the office has 3 computers in use. One by a young lady and 2 being used by 2 guys doing visas etc. Contrary to others who took 4 hours to do a 90 day report I was in and out in 35 minutes and I was 2nd in line. 15 minutes tops, to do the extension.  bananaman.gif

Also a little info regarding money in the bank. They are accepting fixed term accounts. And don't forget to draw the map to your abode.

Great to hear sinbin. Sounds like good and efficient service.

Are they handing out the "personal information" form as yet?

They're not asking, or providing forms, requesting personal information. That doesn't mean to say they won't in the future. But as it stands this is the best service I've received from any IO that I've use in 11 years. Time will tell but the new office seems more relaxed than KC. I hope it remains that way.

If anybody can post the GPS coordinates, the mailing address and contact phone numbers, I shall be grateful.

As an absolute minimum I need the GPS coordinates to put the Buriram Immigration office on our map.

So difficult to find precise information.

The location from previous post is consistent with some vague description elsewhere ("in Government House near (old) iMobile stadium" from a German language forum).

The second phone number leads to well known Kap Choeng.

So strange they are not able to communicate properly in the age of the internet

Thai Chi, it seems you have been to the Buriram office. As it is quite a big building I would like to place the marker on the building in the exact spot where the immigration office is. Can you help me with this?

@ Maesteo. I will not be there until early November.

If someones else doesn't post prior to then I will get inside office GPS  coordinates then.

I will also try for an official address and working 'phone numbers.

Use the main entrance, take the elevator to floor 3. Go right and you will find the office down the corridor

How many entrances does the building have? Which of these entrances is the main entrance?
