Looks good, but wondering if this detachable... thieves...can you mount this on the helmet?

is it bidirectional? that's needed on a bike IMO

I'm not a bike guy so don't really know biker requirements, just thought this would be of interest to some.

This Bike Cam is not cheap and DOD is a well established company so I would think it goes without saying they have the possibly of theft covered in some way.

If you look at the specifications you'll see it has a lot of features not usually found on a Helmet Cam, including "peer-to-peer real-time video transmission to your smartphone, and you can share your adventure with friends right away"  Which I thought was pretty neat.

As for Helmet Cam remember Michael Schumacher whose Helmet Cam striking the rock caused the helmet to fail and put him in a coma.

Looks interesting.  Certainly a better shape than a Gopro.

It looks good. My only complaint would be that the water proof power supply needs to be hard wired. Instead they should offer a USB cable as many riders already have USB power on their bikes. It would make swapping bikes easy.
