Roads have been dry for a couple of months and this rain would have lifted all the much and oil off the road. It's very slippery and not surprised to see many accidents in a short distance. I saw something like this a few years ago. About 6 accidents in a space of a km. Look for the soapy appearance on the road after rains. Avoid it.

Every driver knows that oil/rubber scum on wet roads after a dry spell means traction problems requiring gentle braking and increased stopping distances. Oh, Silly me!!! I forgot this is stupid, selfish, dangerous-passing, ME-FIRST Thai drivers we are talking about...........! Watched them passing dangerously on corners in the wet today (Saturday) More rain today where I live!!!
outsider Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 You live in a tropical region. Rain is common. Learn to drive according to conditions i.e. use the brain, and there should be less accidents.

It's well known that first rain brings up grease and oil from asphalt and should apply different driving Instead of usual crazy attitude
