What do you like most about Thai girls?

Is it still too late to comment on this topic? While I can't claim to know the inside outs about a Thai natives spousal preference, I think most views shared here are based on personal experiences hence the split in opinions.

My shallow knowledge of Thai culture stems from having a close Thailand buddy that went to college with me and a few short dates with thai women. IMO, like some of you have pointed out, many girls you meet in bars will prefer farangs because they hail from rural villages with nothing more than an Oxen as their prized posession and they see farangs as their ticket to financial freedom. However I do tend to agree most educated Thai women would not prefer a white man as a partner. Most still prefer local men which makes perfect sense. A well educated women wouldn't need to rely on a man to take care of her financial needs long term, and its only human that we seek to have a partner that we are able to communicate with easily without cultural barriers. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule but unless you are a Orlando Bloom-esque it's hard to see any other reason a middle to upper class thai lady would fall for you. 

As for the prostitution discussion, It's really where one draws a moral line to determine the side you stand on. Personally, I think its a little harsh to label one a whore for receiving "gas money". Sometimes a girl who is not financially as capable just needs a little help. For me its not dissimilar to showering presents to my girlfriend with gifts she cant normally afford. To me, a prostitute would be someone who is willing to sleep with anyone willing to pay for it.

I think the difference is the term "a prostitute" and engaging in the "act of prostitution" - a prostitute is someone who's main income / profession is selling herself for money... a girl who is an office worker / student / hotel staff etc that occasionally sleeps with someone for gas money / cash / gifts is engaging in the act of prostitution but not a prostitute if that makes sense --- and to that end A lot of women could be said to prostitute themselves to some degree or another in any culture

1.Because they treat man as real man  if you normal for them.

2.They are cleanest woman with personal hygiene compare to others in the world.

For many many cases marriage in western world  it is just legal prostitution ...where mostly man is the looser.

They are very feminine and very concious of their appearance, unfortunately being Scottish I clashed with my Thai wife constantly as we are from different cultures, I left her recently and returned home, she now has my business in Bangkok to herself but ah suppose that is the price you have to pay. What makes me laugh is 2 of her best friends are now coming on to me and want me to return to be with them, they come across as innocent and demure but in my experience they lack moral fibre and integrity.

all joking apart i use the internet sites, sure there are hookers on there free lancing but there easy to suss out cos they will ask you for money. ive met some great ladies on the net not loso ladies some hiso most just normal ladies looking for a descent boyfriend, i dated some of these girls 3 or 4 years and still dating her and never paid for sex or pay a retainers fee, sure paid for meal, pictures and holidays ect.

Yes I agree. In England I don't think I've ever heard the term 'go to the movies', It was always 'go to the pictures' or 'the flicks'. Don't know about now. Probably still 'pictures;.

Yes 'cinema' of course. I was forgetting that.

 

In my area we had names for the multitude of cinema. We had 3 in Ilford, 3 in Romford, 3 in Barking, 2 at The Chequers and I think one at the Heathway. We would call them by their nic-names. The Chequers cinema we called "The flea pit" and the big Odeon in Barking was "The posh house." Another Odeon in Ilford we called "Saturday flicks" due to good Saturday morning kids programmes and one near to me (merry fiddlers) was called the "Doss house". It was right next to three pubs and the drunks would come out from the pubs at 3pm, go into the cinema to just sleep and snore, and leave for opening time in the evening.

 

Not all cinema were open in the afternoon so the 'Doss house' was really helpful in keeping drunks off the streets.

You're kidding yourself, mate. All Thai women prefer to date/marry a Thai man who they have a lot of things in common with. They have nothing in common in their culture with Western men. They only "prefer Westerners" because of the extra money that brings and the ability to travel to rich Western countries and maybe even live there, and then send money back home either to extended family or to build a new house in Thailand. If you really think they "prefer Westerners", are you a stunning male model type yourself? Maybe if you're something exceptional, with movie star looks AND a lot of money, they will genuinely prefer you, but Thai women generally aren't shallow in going for men for their looks (far less concerned about looks than Western women, in fact). They will marry an ugly and old Thai man too if he has money. It's not uncommon to see Thai couples where the man is a lot older. It all comes down to the security of money. I assure you that they DO NOT prefer Westerners, in fact almost no Thai women do. Quite the contrary, there's a huge stigma among middle-class and upper-class Thai women about dating or marrying falangs because other Thais will view them as pr0stitutes and assume they met the guy in a bar... Even among low-class Thais, they sometimes feel embarrassed or awkward around other Thais if they're with a falang because they will assume the same thing. They only "prefer" you because of the money and foreign travel opportunities you can give them.
