Villagers in Krabi have been flocking to a temple in the Klong Tham district where a two headed stuffed calf has been put on show in a glass case.

As Thaivisa reported last month, ever since the calf was in the womb of its mother the calf's owner - Samrong Rotphai, 47 - reportedly won in the national  lottery three times in a row.

Now Samrong - a helper to the Phu Yai Ban -  has put the stillborn creature on display in the case at the temple of Wat Prutoey.

She hopes that the two headed, six legged, twin tailed stuffed calf will bring luck to everyone - and help raise funds for the repair of the roof of the main chapel at the temple.

Are they looking at it in wonder because it has two heads, or looking at it in wonder, actually believing it helped win the lottery? Three times?

Seems to me this poor thing has actually had pretty much nothing but bad luck, right up to its demise.
