Is it raining in Pattaya right now?

Featured Replies

Title says it all.  Need to come to pick my wife up from the bus station on the motorbike in the next hour but heavy rain at the moment here in Sattahip.

At least it won't be cold. Where I am ( not LOS ) it is wet and cold when it rains.

Still pretty wet and cold on a bike even in these usually sunny climes!!

A lot of thunder outside but no rain yet here in Najomtien.

OK it's started now... not heavy, but steady.

The thunder and lightning seem to have stopped.

None at Rong Po.... Bu66er, my grass is looking a bit brown and would love a good downpour.

Yep... just enough to settle the dust but not enough to give the garden a good soak.

This site will tell you if it is raining. Updated about every 15 minutes. Anything yellow or higher usually means rain.

I looked out my window and saw the rain in Sattahip, didn't need a weather site prediction for that!  What I was interested in was whether it was also raining in Pattaya before setting out on the bike to collect my wife from the bus station.

Anyway, thanks all for the updates, it stopped just in time in Sattahip and surprisingly I actually managed to get to Pattaya and back without getting wet!

If you had bothered to look at this site you would have noticed that it covered Pattaya as well and it's not a prediction but near realtime data

And in this instance the "real time data" was not reflective of "real time" for the OP,  your point is ?

My point is that the OP and many others thought that this site only cover Sattahip when it actually shows near realtime data for most of eastern Thailand. Other displays on this site covers the rest of Thailand.

I know it was posted to late for him to use in that instant but posted it anyway as a service to him and other forum readers in the future.

Finally had a look at the map Pattjock supplied as about to make another trip to Pattaya..........think I'll stick to looking out the window!   All I see is a large splurge of varying colours  but no matter how I look at it I can't work out where I am on it, and comparing it to google maps I can't even work out which way up it is.........and Pattaya is also shown?  Where?  No markings and area covered is a complete mystery to me.

well for what its worth its raining in Na-Jomtien this very second

I found that the Swampy radar loop to be pretty accurate.

Have a look here.
