That's three so far. Milito was a tremendous striker for Inter. One more to go. If nobody jumps in I'll give a clue.

Hernan Crespo. Mourinho link.

Nope.

Here's a clue-the player in question had a nickname that was related to his position on the pitch.

Yes sir!

Cheers....the Roma bit gave him to me. Remember a certain Michael Owen scoring two against him in 2001. My 1st visit to Thailand!

Metro seems to have disappeared. You can do the next question JD if you like.

My quiz question stays open for any who want to guess.

Winner won't get the ability to post a new question and will get a extra gain in the list of fame. ????

The hints were :  concrete village (translated from the language the person is speaking in his own country)  , and count the words that's in the post is also his number.

Extra hint:  He is in the Top 10 Players who went on to successfully manage their former team , like Conte is.

Aaaaaaaaaand it is !

Johan Cruyff | Ajax & Barcelona

The late and great Johan Cruyff enjoyed massive success both on and off the pitch. The Dutch legend not only dominated on the pitch but also revolutionised the game away from it. His style of play is still adopted by many managers today. Aside from winning multiple titles with Ajax and Barcelona, he also founded the prestigious La Masia academy which produced players such as Leo Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi.  (source: Top 10)

Concrete Village , in Dutch 'Beton dorp',  Betondorp is an neighborhood in Amsterdam and where Johan 'Jopie' Cruyff grew up and also the location of the old Ajax stadium.

14 was his jersey number, even in the time when it was not usual to have a number outside the 1-11 range.   (source: wiki)

14 is also the numbers of his 'rules' :

  • Team player – 'To accomplish things, you have to do them together.';
  • Responsibility – 'Take care of things as if they were your own.';
  • Respect – 'Respect one another.';
  • Integration – 'Involve others in your activities.';
  • Initiative – 'Dare to try something new.';
  • Coaching – 'Always help each other within a team.';
  • Personality – 'Be yourself.';
  • Social involvement – 'Interaction is crucial, both in sport and in life.';
  • Technique – 'Know the basics.';
  • Tactics – 'Know what to do.';
  • Development – 'Sport strengthens body and soul.';
  • Learning – 'Try to learn something new every day.';
  • Play together – 'An essential part of any game.';
  • Creativity – 'Bring beauty to the sport.'
