Long-time felon from Citrus Co who called himself "The Devil" captured in Bangkok Thailand

Stephen Hall was arrested for passport fraud

By: WFTS Webteam

CITRUS CO, FL - A long-time felon from Citrus County who worshipped the devil and often referred to himself as El Diablo (the devil) has been arrested in Bangkok Thailand. Stephen Bishop Hall was put on the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office Top 10 Most Wanted list back in 2007.

While Hall looks like an ordinary guy, a tattoo on the back of his neck depicts Lucifer (the devil)  whispering into Stephen's ear. His truck tag was personalized with S8N LVS (satan lives). Hall's MySpace page was titled El Diablo with the entire page covered with satanic symbols.

Hall was involved with drugs and gangs in the early 90’s and in 2005 he was arrested on drug trafficking charges after deputies served a search warrant on his car detail business.

Sounds like a great guy.  His mom put up her house as collateral for the bond he skipped in Florida.  Hopefully she will get to keep it, since he's been captured and will be sent back to Florida.

'Don't think it works that way.  He skipped - the bond is forfeit, no matter if he gets captured later on somewhere.  (If he'd surrendered, that might've been a different story.)  Sorry, Mom.  You raised a drug-trafficking, bond-skipping scumbag.  Maybe you have another community-pillar offspring that can put you up.  Parents, take note.    Put me down for the hang-'em high brigade on this one.  MAYBE he'll finger a few of his buyers in return for a lighter sentence.  Users, take note.

"He was set for sentencing on Oct 12, 2007 but he skipped town and had never been located, until now" ........... America sounds a lot like Thailand.

Well the article never mentions when he entered Thailand or fled the USA. Add into that search that the states have about 10 million square kilometers to get lost in and add the whole world to that and I think it's pretty amazing they caught him.  Just a different opinion I guess.

how does that work?.....just asking

For other first, second and third degree felonies, the prisoner is parole eligible when calendar time plus good conduct time equals one-fourth of the sentence. Good conduct time is earned by participating in work and self-improvement programs. Good conduct time can be subtracted for disciplinary violations.

Here's a reasonably good article about the mechanics of dealing with overcrowding, though it's more about jails than prisons:
