Nasty accident during Kimi's pit stop resulted fractured leg for the Ferrari mechanic.

Ferrari have been fined 50,000 euros by race officials for an unsafe release.

 

The Mercedes changing to a 1 stopper second footed Ferrari, certainly had us guessing if Seb's  tyres were going to last certainly loosing performance in the closing laps but so were Bottas's and even Hamalton's  to a lesser degree, anything could have happened in the closing laps. 

 

Hats off to Lewis, that overtake of 3 cars in one move shows the magic is still there.

Ricciardo into Q2, who'd have put money in his car being ready?

Well done for getting the pole with minimal margin. Seems like Kimi is not the old man, he was thought to be.

Bet he is not... but I doubt he does not blame anyone but himself, you still can not rule him out of winning the race.

 

Mercedes best bet is team orders, tell bottas to let him pass if if he has the faster speed and hold onto his shirt tails...
