CityNews – On March 16th, it was reported that Saranyu Meetongkam, district chief officer of Chiang Mai’s Muang District, assigned a team to inspect pubs according to the policy of social management.

This is serious stuff. Immoral and illegal bridge players clubs and dart board registrations. The Prayut Chan-o-cha "No Fun Allowed Policy" is sweeping across the country.

A friend just returned to Canada after seven weeks in Chiang Mai. Never again he said, next year Pattaya. I suppose it's for the best, he likes to play pool, and we all know how dangerous those cues are.

Does it not remind you of when Cromwell took the reins in England and the country was declared a Republic?  It was he who stopped the English from practising the longbow so the people developed the game of darts.  Now, even that is in jeopardy in Thailand because the dartboard, if in a drinking establishment, must be registered.
