Abu Dhabi Custom show

Featured Replies

Some really cool bikes.

Has anyone ever ridden one of those huge front wheel Harleys?

Is it rideable? Turnable? Feel safe? Or purely for show?

Believe most are purely for show (transported in a van or on the back of a trailer)

What a freak show, thanks for the photos though - I hope you didn't pay too much to attend... !

If you have ever ridden one of those bikes with a huge rear tire, you will know they do not turn for s**t

Those baggers are show only, judging by the lack of cornering clearance, unless you slow down to 5 kmh

For show bikes - if the style is your thing, and you do not want to ride it ... go for it

You have to admire the effort and in some cases, talent that has gone into these bikes.

It looks like only a handful of them are actually rideable in any kind of real world scenario though.

^^^^ - True, great craftmanship. But I guess I just value performance over looks. And judging by the bikes I owned in the past this is most certainly true.

I think most people will have that reaction of "Wow that surely must have been a ton of work but I wouldn't want to own/ride one". Most of these bikes are an excercise in "how do I get the bike the farthest away from being fun to ride" :)

Thank you bprinceuk for taking the time and effort to post these pictures here!

Arabs with far too much money and very little taste.

Yes agreed those show bikes are for show and nothing much else.

I don't really see the point unless you got so much money that you can spend +100k$ for a bike riding to Starbucks once a week but I can see that makes perfect sense for many in Abu Dhabi:tongue:.

I must be getting old.The only ones I had any interest in were the restored Harley flathead and the Ural
