Superrich exchange booth / Korat

I vaguely remember seeing a superrich money exchange booth at either The Mall or Terminal 21 (or both?) in Korat. Can anybody confirm this?

It's been ages since I've been to either place and I'd hate to go there purely to exchange money only to find out I had dreamt that there's a money exchange there.

I know I can also exchange at one of the banks, but superrich gives a better rate, only slightly higher albeit, and there's generally less fuss than at the banks.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you! I was 99% sure I'd seen them somewhere in Korat before!

I wonder if that is a real super rich exchange booth. I suspect it might be a knockoff. The logo they are using is not the same.

There are two superrich companies orange (new) and green (original) if there is any difference between them with the exchange rate then green is always better. Orange has quite a few more branches than green.

However if you look on thier website they DO NOT show a branch in Korat they do show one in Khon Kaen. So it maybe a knockoff.

Just got back from the one at Terminal 21 in Korat which is on the "LG" floor by the way.  The exchange rate for Swiss Franc was 31.8.  The Bangkok Bank rate for today was 31.36.  So a slightly better rate at Superrich Korat Terminal 21.  I had to change a 1000 Swiss note, which is why I stopped there.  Not sure about other currency rates but suspect that the rates would still be slightly better at Superrich than the banks.

Also, just looked at the Superrich exchange rate web site and it shows today's rate for Swiss Franc as 32.20, so guess the Bangkok shop is better than in Korat.

First you used the wrong superrich website. The head office location is always better than the remote locations.

both superrich websites let you check the exchange rates in the different locations.

Sorry.  Do not know what you mean by the wrong website.  Do you have a link to the correct website?

No he didn't, the Korat exchange is supposedly a branch of the orange super rich not the green superrich.

Do please follow your own advice and read more carefully

Yes, everybody is aware of this

He reported that he went to Superrich SPR in Korat. In his next post he then posted a screenshot of the Superrich website, compared the exchange rate and came to the conclusion that Superrich offers a better rate then Superrich SPR.

And you claimed he linked to the wrong website.

Thanks for the support.  I am still waiting for him to give me a link to the so called  "correct website".

  • 3 weeks later...

Just for info: exchanged money at the ORANGE Superrich counter at The Mall Korat. The guy behind the counter told me they have a second booth at Terminal21.

The difference in rates between the ORANGE and the GREEN exchanges is so small, it isn't even worth calculating (not for € 500 anyways...).
