New Roman Catholic Diocese in Northern Thailand

CityNews – The Roman Catholic Pope Francis has created a new Diocese in Chiang Rai that encompasses the whole of the Northern Thai region, specifically ethnic minorities.

 

On April 25, it was reported that Pope Francis created a new diocese and appointed Father joseph Wutthilert Haelom, the vicar general of the Bangkok Archdiocese, to oversee its formation.

Also, any church that goes on about charity, but could BUY most countries, gets no respect from me.  Worship of a carpenter doesn't require vast bank balances and masses of gold ornaments.

So what is in charge of a diocese?  A cardinal or rear cardinal, what's the title?  Hope they set up an old folks home.
