usb hub that works

Featured Replies

After trying a number of hubs including a couple of powered ones that do not work I bought a plain Hoco 4 socket usb hub for less than 200 baht delivered and it works.

What works depends a lot on what you connect.

If you have a hub without external power then you can't connect and use several devices which all need power at the same time.

Also be aware of cable length. A long cable plus a hub plus more long cables are a bad idea!

I have the Anker USB hub that I bought online. So far I have no complaints about it.

Thanks.  I bought a couple of HOCO 4 socket usb hubs from Lazada for less than 200 baht and they have been working well.  Their cables work too and are equally inexpensive.

I bought an unbranded 4 port one for 150thb years ago and its still fine

Have friends who seem to break them every few months and they buy better ones than i have

Same here.  The expensive ones with external supplies, had no luck with them.  Tried them on multiple computers, but...

I have a 4-port USB 3.0 for maybe 2 years now, use it for wireless keyboard and mouse and syncing, so far so good.

Kind of looking forward to USB-C as I'm a little clumsy and tend to screw up my USB ports when plugging/unplugging.
