"She Is Just a Shadow"

Not for everyone. Average acting. Extremely violent. Huge amount of Asian girls running around in cosplay outfits and completely naked. It is a Japanese Tokyo mafia crime story, not horror as the review says.

"In this highly art-directed weirdo horror soft core, no amount of spurting blood or naked female bodies can make up for the poor writing and awkward performances, but Sherman certainly throws all of that at the problem." :clap2:

Nothing unusual really. hard to narrow it down but these would be there or therabouts:

The Sopranos

Sons of Anarchy / Mayans

Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul

The Shield

GoT

Having said that I like a lot of cop shows, both UK and US so currently Luther, Line of Duty, Bosch and Chicago PD, older ones Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Criminal Intent, CSI etc. No comedy in the above list either, which is a shame.

Pretty close to my preferences.

Mine would be:

The Sopranos

Breaking bad

The Wire

The shield &

Justified

SOA and Gomorrah would be in the top 10 also.

I love Gomorrah. The Wire got great reviews and is in lots of people's top ten but I just couldn't get into it, I'll have to give it another go sometime soon.

"I don't feel at home in this world anymore"

Started off dull then ended in one of the most excessive bloodbaths I've ever seen.

Worth watching.

Pennyworth series just ended with him banging Queen Liz in a one night stand.

Also watching TV series "Evil", and "The Capture", and Sanditon", and "Stumptown"

Yes, like Evil and Stumptown so far.

pennyworth started out strong, but alfred lost all likeabilty and to me the show lost its charm.

I thought that was a good summing up of the series too.

A good start, but went slowly downhill. The least episode must have been written by someone on drugs.

If you want comedy try "Curb Your Enthusiasm".

+1.

I forgot to mention Shameless, with William H. Macy is a great comedy/drama IMO

CYE is brilliant.

Overtaken Seinfeld to be my favourite comedy.

Haven't seen the US version but the Pommy version was good.

Yes like the show the Office, American Idol, All in the Family, and a few others we copied from the UK.

Think we copied the Bridge from Sweden and am sure there are others

Face it, the Americans can spend more money on their series, and we have more award shows giving out trophies to celebrate our uniqueness.  5555

All 8 episodes for season 3 of the excellent Goliath are out there.

Are the seasons interconnected?

I will like to jump on this one, but don't really feel like starting from season 1.

Seriously?

3 was enough. 4 was one too many, then there were a 5th, but now a 6th Terminator with pump gun grandmother?

Just noticed on RARBG that El Marginal season 3 (with subs) has dropped.

If you haven't seen this one, it's an excellent show.

Summary: Miguel, a former Argentinian cop, is sent by a judge to get into a prison in order to find

the kidnapper of his daughter as a result of a favor.

Goliath - each season has a different story line.

IMO, you really need to watch from the start to get a good idea of the characters.

I'm not quite sure why you would'nt start from season 1 TBH.

Only 8 episodes per season.

Watched the first 2 episodes of season 3 last night and it was really disappointing.

Is it just me?

Any other opinions?

I watched about half of episode 1, series 1, that was enough.
