who replaced him

I thought he was still there till the end of the year! Chip Butty's ITK mate does suffer from occasional premature ejaculation. Some guy called Richard Arnold the MD is probable replacement when he does leave.

Nobody yet Arnold is the group MD and possibly 2 other candidates, as an outside bet Edwin Van Der Sar

Just read a report on the BBC about a share sell-off by the Glazers. Apparently it is the 2nd sell-off since the Euro Super League incident. Glazers will end up with just 69% of shares. Where are the rest going? Anyone in the know?

I have a feeling the Glazers are shipping out. They are selling shares like no tomorrow. They now control 69% of club share wise, if that dips 50% this would trigger an automatic sale of the club to new wannabe owners.

Also, the share sales indicate the club is worth around £1.4 billion pound. Glazers have already sold off 20-25% of the club through shares and cashed in around £3-400 million. Probably to pay off hidden debts in Delaware, USA.

So this means in reality, Glazers have 69% of the club left, which works out at £1 billion pound, however, the club is saddled with around £500 million debt. This means, that the Glazers only have a possible profit rate of £500 million. Yeah, you may think that's a lot, but to them, this is a disaster. So its not going to take much for the Glazers to sell. So a offer of around £700 million from a wannabe owner would probably see them sell up.

Let’s hope, their ownership is coming to an end. The figures suggest they are finished.

You've got to be worth much more than that. Thought MBS (Saudi Prince) offered much more than that a couple of years ago. Reckon your maths are off a bit

550 million dollars suddenly added to the value of Manchester United shares, the Ronaldo factor.   The Glazers & Woodward might not know much about football but they sure know about "star" factor and income it can create. Totally misunderstood by some posters who only think about shirts sales ???? Unlimited marketing options, more to come. Be nice to win something though.

Why is mediocrity being rewarded?!

Ole and Phelan are responsible for such dire selections ,team tactics and results!

After we play Man City in November, our title hopes will be over!!

Where's the accountability?!

Liverpool,Man City and Chelsea must be delighted with the news!

And Newcastle !

Will depend on the new manager's taste, but Coutinho could be one of the first buys IMO

Replace Bailly or Lindelof with Maguire surely….

Bissaka a Liability now….Pogba dreaming of Real next year….

Too many precious superstars up front & midfield who do near zero defensive work.

A 750 mill. group of great individuals…..never a team to win Prem or CL.

when watching the top three Prem teams, you can see the difference

just finished watching the Leicester game…..

now if only Messi could come to Newcastle…..

Ole was a supersub as a player, tactically smart to quickly exploit spotted weaknesses and surprising opponents. But he was never good enough to be a consistent starter, maybe because a starter is more about consistency and quality within the team structure.

It seems like his managing career is following in the same pattern. Great caretaker, identifying what was missing (culture and attitude) sparking a fantastic run, but not consistent and good enough within a (missing) structure as a permanent manager.
