What a difference a bit of time can make. Ndombele looks a different player now compared to his early days. He notched that second goal like he was springing out of bed. Nothing to it.

Ndombele was doing the same things when he joined us as he's doing now,  except now he's doing them for 65 mins as opposed to 15/20... It just took him a while to get used to the physicality and get his fitness up.

Got what we deserved tonight... Poor defending for the goals especially by aurier.. he is just a frigging  AIR HEAD     and think Jose for once got it wrong. Imo Poor choises of formation and Ineffective/wrong subs kane going of didn't help. But lamella to replace him ... W T F!!  Didn't take a rocket scientist to work out what was happen    NOTHING.. would have luved to see bale replaced him... But as long as bale plays down the right..u can see... He just doesn't trust himself to go by anyone... anyways ...that's the prem....

Nice assist by Dire for the first goal.

What’s the point of having Vinicius on the bench if he don’t replace Kane? Isn’t that what he was signed for?

The Bale experiment has failed miserably. If he was half the player he was he would walk in that side let alone play second fiddle to Lamela on the bench.

Nice to see Jose back to his usual self ranting at players from the touch line. His  tactical brilliance ensured your best player Son became ineffective second half and their weakness in defence became their strength.

You played Liverpool at a bad time. They were always gonna come good again at some point but nice of Jose to help them along.

What happened to our defense?  3 goals that could have been prevented.

Jose must be furious.

You beat me to it.

Liverpool played well but all 3 goals involved goalkeeping and / or defending errors, and all goals could have been prevented.

Bet Joe Hart was the only one in the spurs camp who enjoyed the game.

..i know the players <deleted> up .... But, for me,  equally as much so did Jose the selection and the formation he chose wasn't right.

The first goal with Dire and Doris was hilarious. A proper chuckle brother moment.

Dier: "Your ball Hugo!"

Lloris: "No, your ball Eric!"

Firmino: "Gooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaal!"

Does anyone actually know what is wrong with Bale? Does he not have an injury? How hard is it for a top level athlete to get fit.... Cavani came in firing on all cylinders and he's 34.

You never know with Mourinho, he might just be putting him on the 'naughty step' for some reason, as he did with Shaw and Martial etc

He is doing well on the golf course so can't be that bad.

It's simple... He's a left footed winger/inside forward/ that can play in the center, Jose INSISTS on playing him on the right, he loses effectiveness.. he joined spurs as a left bac, Hari pushed him forward and he became a world record transfer from playing him on the left...ok at Madrid Ronnie liked the left.. but they juxtaposed.. and it worked.. but he played himself out of Madrid by Zidane insisting on playing him down the right and looks like Jose is gonna do the same this time at tottenham ...

Shame .. u can see theres still an extra gear there,  a run of games down the lhs .. and I think he'd produce.. but atm it doesn't look like it's gonna happen...

According to Jose, it is Bale's preference to play wide right; Dunno why he is so ineffective. The likes of Salah show how useful a left footer playing that role can be.

Now Kane is out they shouldn't be bothering with the Brazilian kid. If Bale is half the player he was at Madrid he can easily play CF. He has all the attributes. Be surprised if Jose doesn't put him in... It might turn out to be a masterstroke. Keeping his gunpowder dry until either Kane or Son got injured

Anyone notice how Kane got injured? He was pulling his trademark move of checking where the opponent was, then backing into him. Henderson saw it coming and was too cute, moving out of the way at the last second.....Kane then landed badly on his ankle..... Karma?!?

There is nothing wrong with shielding the ball like that as a CF....

Anyway, there were saying that he usually has his ankle strapped before games, so it was an ongoing issue I think.

Kyle Walker has started doing 'The Kane' move to put off whoever is challenging. Walker feints to jump or moves in to the player. Grrr! Got his comeuppance doing The Kane vs Villa, getting injured by Grealish. Needs to stop it.

Tell that to Adam Lallana! Remember the Spurs Brighton game.

Kane's MO is to check the defender's position...back into him and then make a 'back' himself causing the jumping defender to go over the top and Kane wins a foul. As a number of pundits have commented, it is dangerous and could cause serious injury to the defender.

No more dangerous than jumping for a line out in rugby surely?

I forgot you actually rate Adam Lallana ????

Maybe you need to learn the laws of egg-chasing...

  • No player can use a one of the opposition to use as support when they are jumping

  • No player is allowed to push, charge or hold another player in the line-out

He is Hendo's best mate in football so I'm pretty certain they had a chat about the incident against Brighton He saw it coming and took appropriate evasive action.

They have a lot in common.... stealing England caps for example.

Henderson has a better claim that Lallana to an England cap that's for sure.

Anyone else really not bothered if the Euros don't take place? Give the players a rest.

Poor all over from us,  Powder puff up front  and barring ndombele little or no energy in midfeild, I'm missing those surging runs and power hustles from sissoko.. until lucus came on no-one was prepared/ able to run them ... Lamella is just a touch  stupid... No one in the spurs team deserves any form of praise..as I said poor all around.
