A motorbike has ended up entangled in power lines, four meters up in the air, following an incident in Surin province yesterday.

Daily News is reporting that emergency responders were notified of the accident in Karbcherng last night (Sunday).

They arrived to find a motorbike entangled in the electric wires four metres from the ground. Nearby they found a damaged pickup truck. Five people were injured in the incident.

I didn't know Thailand had charging stations for electric bikes.

  • Hope E.T. was OK.

  • I wonder if the rider made it up there as well? Just what the world needs, Thailand's answer to Evel Knievel.

Bill Gates will like that.

This is Thailand.  That is an example of WHAT and WHY driving = death here!  Enjoy your stay in the LOS...pay or get out!

What a bizarre photo no low hanging birds nest of tangled wires to be seen????

A high wire event alright! The daily madness on the roads here has it’s consequences. It’s easy to be trite and put laughable comments on here but this is just beyond a joke. The problem is, here it’s not a freak accident, it gets to be normal.

UFM (unconventional flying motorbike) the new mysterious phenomena

Amazing really, the first puff of wind can bring down most cables but they can hold a 100Kg motorbike. Kudo's to the guys who will get that down.

Everyone seems to have missed the point in the article, the flying motorbike was being transported in the pickup which swerved to miss another motorbike and crashed!

Soalbundy,

Truly looking forward to the video of when they get this bike down ( in one piece) onto the ground

Wonder if they can claim salvage rights ?

Read the link. No-one was driving it. Which almost spoils a good story.
