I don’t give much credence to Newton’s theory of gravity. Density is, I believe, the most probable theory (to the smart*sses: yes,if I jump off a building I will crash to the ground, because my body is denser than the surrounding air).
The gravity idea, just as the Earth curvature idea, is riddled with contradictions and absurdities. Newton himself, according to David Wardlaw Scott, confessed that the explanation of the moon's action on the tides did not fit well with his theory of gravitation, which asserts that the larger object attracts the smaller (but the mass of the Moon is only one-eighth of that of the Earth).
Why are lakes not affected by tides?
Gravity is strong enough to hold the oceans to a spinning ball, yet weak enough that birds can still fly?
There were no wars declared last decades. Invasions only.
Afghanistan invasion of US troops based on false pretext of 9/11, Iraq "war" based on that WMD BS etc.
So legally if your country is not at the "war" you are as the citizen not obliged to "serve your country" [legally].
They'll have to use mercs and military groups, but cannot force you to "serve".
Also, foot soldiers? They don't last long. Why bother?
The new Tsar in the Kremlin knows all about the youth in the West and their priorities. To defend the property of the 5% of the rich is not very high on their agenda.
The only coutry in Europe that can still motivate their youth for "a fatherlandish" war is Russia.
PS: As the west has sent the most part of our military hardware to the Ukraine, it will be hard to convince the youth of the west to conduct any defensive warfare, equipped with slingshots and wooden clubs.
