Video: Now Phuket!  Black water comes through the sands at Patong!

A video posted on Facebook showed filthy black water start gurgling up through the sands at Kalim Beach in Patong, Phuket. 

 

Within no time the water was a raging torrent heading for the sea that was washing away a large section of the beach as startled tourists looked on. 

 

It was coming from a pipe that was previously not visible due to the sand. 

 

Posters reacted with horror at the latest pollution on Thai beaches - last week the sea at Na Jomtien in Pattaya was turned into a "Black Lagoon". 

 

Officials there put sandbags next to a drain as a stopgap measure. 

 

The latest video was posted by Bong Marquez who said in comments that officials had come to take water samples last night. 

 

The video was widely shared and commented upon.

My bet is the pipe throwing the crap out to sea is blocked and the man In  charge of these types of construction drives a Mercedes and plays golf.

I wonder if this sewage pipe was in the construction plans approved by the local authorities.

That's one hell of a pipe they laid from Jomtien to Patong!  Anybody see them do it, or did the night-shift do it?

Nope- still haven't noticed anyone in Phuket affected by this.

 What did the "wise general" in all these years do for the country?

All important positions at the MoE were occupied by soldiers.

 

Almost all other very important positions were given to wannabe soldiers. 

 

  The education system's quality decreased from month to month or day by day under his reign.

 

  The loan sharks make more money than ever.

 

 The suicide rate is alarmingly high.

 

   People are not allowed to demonstrate against the military regime, using paragraph 44.

 

It turned out that these people have changed the country into something that foreigners can't, or don't want to stay here anymore, which would be the death of this country.

 

  There's a statistic that Thailand would be similar to Myanmar without foreigners' money, who are pleased to stay here but should leave once they've spent all for everybody. 

 

And now the water turns black at totally different locations.
