I thought I was responding to a question as in the OP title.

If that upset you I apologise.

After her appearance on Super 10 tv last year with morlam singer, her idol Aung Ing surprising her, Nong Sophia has become the latest teeny morlam princess. From Roi Et (where else) her dad is Englsih but divorced her mum.

Friday show on ch 23 workpoint morlam Idol singing contest, like Issan got talent. Don't recall a contest show with just morlam before. Due largely to the amazing success of teenager Ung Ing the past two years.

Saw Kung Suthirat last night great concert, not too loud, great dancers and costumes, not like these new luktung Indie singers who turn up looking scruffy. One of the great modern likay singers, the other great one is on at the end Chaiya Meechai. Luktung song

Recently added subs to a Sure classic by Air Suchawadee, 2002. Originally written for Fon Thanasunthorn but they gave it to a new singer.

One of the top earners, not sure how they got hold of all the details, I thought she earned less than the given concert fees, but doing well anyway! Superstar of country music, Lamyai, annual earnings 80-100 million baht.

Saw Monsit last night in Bangkok, his voice is still as good as the first time I saw him 25 years ago

Artist of the nation Ponsri Waranuch just passed away age 85, very famous luktung singer from the 60's. Went to her house in 2012, like a museum to her career, very nice lady.

Not so much live these days though, her voice was shot years ago, but she is 56. Got this one signed by her. At her best in the 90's she was better than anyone today.

Siriporn Ampaipong's concerts were some of the best ever, sadly her voice declined and she has not appeared in concert for a number of years, as far as I have seen.

Baby Jin, about 1989 from her second album. Never heard another singer cover this. warn puan kean jot mai.

Beautiful sad luktung song

Lao Khow, tastes awful but get you pissed, Darkies most famous kantrum song (he died of a drink related illness over 20 years ago)

I'm hanging on to my CD collection, Jintara no 6 goes for about 10k baht to collectors, I have a copy never opened. The power of love album is considered to be one of her best. Never seen the tape. 1989 Grammy's highest selling album that year.

Lastest contest star, Nong Ton Khao won this contest a record 68 times. She's an amazingly great luktung singer at 13 and reminiscent of Pumpuang, even her gestures. Rare talent.

Gone for so long, 1992, if I remember right, but oh, how she could pull at the heart strings.
