moontang Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 How about Slovenia? Just looking for affordable, if not cheap, places that arent environmental disasters, and some nice working girls, and good beer. Any thoughts? And how about the visa for an American? 1
Jingthing Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Ukraine seems popular to hang out cheaply for awhile though residency would be difficult. 1 1

Concerned a bit about the cold, too. Been looking in Colorado (Sangre de Cristos), different parts of Wyoming, Montana, and northern Nevada...cold enough to freeze motor oil.... Popular Post CMNightRider Posted December 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 20, 2019 The country of Georgia will give you a one year visa when you visit, and appears to be at least as inexpensive as Thailand, if not cheaper. You certainly don't have to put up with a lot of immigration nonsense like you do in Thailand. 3 2

Popular Post Chivas Posted December 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 20, 2019 Went to Bulgaria ( Golden Sands) earlier this year on an all inclusive deal with my lad. What a laugh indeed. Its the cheapest country in Europe anyway even if you're not all inclusive.....very clean beautiful beaches nice and hot end of June. As this is Thaivisa I cant say too much but the females are lovely lol No visa required and wont be for OP either 3

I think Americans get 90 day visa free (every 180 day period). More than that you need a tourist visa. I'm mostly hearing that Kyiv is a great European city that is very very cheap compared to western Europe. Kind of like the kind of interesting expats that used to go to Prague back in the day are going to Kyiv now (I have been to Prague and Budapest but not cheap anymore). Have watched a number of vlogs from digitial nomads, constant travelers, etc. raving about the place. I'm mildly curious myself as my grandparents came from there (when it was Russia). Ron jeremy Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Spoke with a fellow that lived in bkk for 8 years, he just returned, said Eastern Europe was cheaper than bkk. 1

Yes its cheaper in Bulgaria. Even the knock off gear which was identical to Thailand was same price without haggling
Destiny1990 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Eastern Europe is what some members think that i am from.
moontang Posted December 20, 2019 Author Posted December 20, 2019 any places one might want to avoid with an obviously sgerman family name? Still quite a few Americans refuse to drive Toyotas..even the ones made in America. Might seem silly, but worth checking out.
Deli Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Gold Coast, Bulgaria. Decent climate, pretty chicks, inexpensive but... it's a Mafia run country. 2

I attended university in Alamosa and lived in Crested Butte...they are some of the coldest places in the Rocky Mountain region, (-35 or lower is possible)... Checkout Salida & Buena Vista Colorado, 1+ hour north of Alamosa and much more temperate. Today the temperature is 40f/20f. Good community, hospitals, shopping etc and very close to many outdoor activities.
