Here are some Thai - songs, I really like!

There are more, but unfortunately, in this nick of the woods, you refuse to use "normal" letters, so they are hard to find.

Hope you like my choices, anyways:

One of my favorites Job and Joy from Ubon went from Nopporn Silver Gold to Sangravee entertainment. The owner there did not seem keen on morlam but at least the MV's were good quality. Joys tits are real, the mrs asked her!, joy is the smaller older sister.

Information from Orton......

The Thai Elvis Suraphol Sombatchereon, started his career with Rabbit records in the early 50's and by the time he was he was gunned down in August 1968 was the most famous and successful luktung singer in the country.

Theories about why he was assassinated are debts, being involved with somebody's wife and because he had refused to hold a concert for an important Army officer.

As the reporters turned up from Bangkok before the local Police at  Nakhom Pathom it would indicate somebody of influence did it, the culprit was never identified. Afterwards the attacks on his family continued with even bombs at concerts and gunfire at their cars.

His son Surachai was sent to live in Birmingham UK for a time for safety, when he went back to Thailand he also became a well known singer.

If this is not his last song it was one of them 16 years, a lament about his marriage ending. Another great singer from Suphanburi.

Everyone seems to like Tai Orathai, especially Khun Sala the bloke in the hat, her ex boyfriend. Pic at fm 95 awards few years back. Lovely smile.

C'mon Yinn...gimmee 'The Blues'.  BB, T- Bone, Muddy W, Robert Johnson, Howlin W, Clapton, Mayall, Green, Stevie Ray, et al.  are there no Thai equivalents?

Girl with the golden voice from a film in the late 80's, glad I am not in a car on the way to her City Korat today! One of the very greatest luktung/lukrung singers, Sunaree Rachesima
