Ex-immigration chief Surachate given stern warning by PM

Prayuth-Blur.jpg

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has warned former immigration chief, Pol Lt-Gen Surachate Hakparn, to adhere strictly to the ethical code and discipline expected of all civil servants.

In an order, issued today by the Prime Minister, Pol Lt-Gen Surachate, who is currently working as a civil servant attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, was told not to do anything which could be deemed to be gross misconduct, such as performing his duty dishonestly, filing false reports, bypassing his superior, abusing his authority, being careless in the performance of his duties, abandoning his duty or doing anything which could be deemed to be persecution or oppression of others.

Surachate was also told to abide by the laws and rules transparently, spend his time on government service, to protect official secrets, be polite, help other officials and refrain from delegating his work to the others.

I take that to mean Big Joke knows about some very dirty deeds and is being told to keep his trap shut about all of it. One wonders how far up the ladder the dirty trail leads?

Surachates ethics in the case of questioning the need for expensive gadgets for the Immigration Dept were sound, but unpopular and disruptive.

The RTP purchased a fleet of BMW on Prayut’s watch, but then again Prayut is signing off purchase orders for goodness knows how many millions of dollars for unnecessary submarines. I wonder if any Thai journalists have the balls to follow the paper trail for the BMW fleet purchase, they’re about 3 million just for the car !!

So basically.. Not talk about corruption occurring in gov authorities... Which is the reason for why this mess started in the first place.

Logic would suggest, there's some relation between this little nugget and the news from yesterday regarding the demotion/sidelining of two deputy national police chiefs, including one I believe responsible for the BJ shooting investigation.

Wonder what it is exactly that the powers that be are trying so hard to hide from public view?

I predict that the day will come when Surachate Hakparn will join the FFP.

That's easy and the answer is incompetence.

More BS from the master bul+sh++er.

He is running scared that Surachate will spill the beans on all the corrupt practices the so- called government are up to.

That drive by shooting seems to have ruffled and Kerfluffled the feathers  ...

In more important matters. While I think its cool that the Chiefs are back in the SB for the first time in fifty years, I have to believe the 49ers will win. I wonder if JOHN Lynch is going to send Pete a thank you?! He should

I thought he'd had his warning.

I thought the bullet holes in the car whilst he was getting a massage was the unofficial warning. This looks more official.

Oh, thank god there was a coup nearly 6 years ago to end all of this corruption.

A lot of good posts so far but yours is one of the best so far.

Our big Joke is no joke to a lot of people,he knows something that

is scaring the hell out of them.

I am sure he is smart enough to have prove hidden away somewhere just in case he gets into an accident.

Things are really starting to heat up and as soon as the smog clears we can all

see what is really going on.

Well at least that's confirmation as to who ordered his car to be filled full of holes.

And he has obviously indicated to those above him that this is the case. Otherwise it would have been him filled with holes, not just his car.

More likely to join Jeffry Epstein  ????

The former immigration chief is currently embroiled in conflict with his former boss, national police chief Pol Gen Chakthip Chaichinda, over the procurement of a two billion baht biometric identification system for the Immigration Bureau.

I'm impressed by the juice that Chaichinda seems to have in this affair; 1 head of immigration and 2 deputy national police chiefs sidelined, banished to the PM's office where he is giving ultimate cover. Big Joke said that the system could be had for 1/4 what was paid and that it didn't work properly in any event, which has apparently been confirmed but downplayed.

But what can you expect from a government that makes a convicted heroin smuggler the Foreign Minister? Not on my watch, Prawit said... ????
