I’m spending less time on the forum

With all the ads appearing here now and increasingly getting in the way I find I’m reading fewer topics and moving on more quickly. Am I more irritated or are you bothered too?

I dont use it with my ipad anymore as the site is too clunky and jumps around then it freezes.

 

Only use on my phone but the adds at the top and bottom plus the standard popup are very annoying.

Same problem here, I wish I could remove the video ad in the bottom right corner, It interferes with topics Im reading.

Use BRAVE for this site; stick with CHROME when browsing elsewhere.

I just installed it, now Thaivisa is just a clean normal site, like it was 10 years ago , thanks!

Yes it's unusable with all the ads. You need to find how to avoid them like the rest of us

Most regular guys have also left and or past away.

Nowadays I focus much more on other destinations.

Over the last years this place has started to appeal way less to me.

Are you seriously believing that many of us would post on here if we had to pay for it? The site only exists because of us posters in the first place, so why should we pay?

Said before, will say it again. I, for one, would gladly pay to receive ad free content. The site is my source of Thai knowledge. I have gained much.

Every business must have revenue to survive. A forum such as this must receive that revenue from either advertising or paid membership.

 

PS My Thai friends from time to time have said "you know more about Thailand than most Thais do". Yes, because .........
