I hate Nana and the area around it.

Thanks for sharing.

I like Nana and the area around it. Always has a vibrant feel to it.

Alcohol kills, but then again alcohol at above 60% kills viruses including coronavirus. Just drink "cask strength whiskey" (google it if you need to) all day long and you should be fine.

More a sports bar than pub but "The Game" on Sukhumvit, under the Nana BTS station, Soi 11 end has a pubby feel and a good line up of brews.

Geez there must be almost 10 of these places on Soi 4 not all lady bars. Add Bully's.

Then weave down Soi 6 several more.

Walk across the street and find them.

He can't find a decent boozer - what chance he'll find a good woman around Nana! ????

yeah, agreed, the Op must be too boozed up half the time to function as there are plenty decent places around.

What about those pubs on Soi 8 like Det 5: https://www.det-5.com/  They seem to find customers. Probably run into a few "SAS" types.

Agreed, a couple of half decent no hassle bars and pubs on Soi 8.

Invite, Kiwi and Viva.

Soi 7/1...There's an Irish Pub all the way down on the right.

There's an Irish pub in Soi 7/1?  Which one?  You're not referring to the Pickled Liver, are you, which used to be all the way down on the right?

Yes which is now an Irish Pub. Good idea. Maybe I will head that way and get some exercise to boot. Cheers

But no more "Irish" than The Queen Victoria was!

The Pickled Liver wasn't an Irish pub.

When things return to normal visit The Game Sports Bar & Grill, situated on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 9 (BTS Nana Skytrain Station). They have a wide selection of drinks, delicious Western pub grub, Thai food, live sports and pool tables. The manager Patrick is a great guy and the staff are fun and friendly. I'm surprised you don't know The Game.
