These are proposals which will happily remain a dead letter.

We must expect everything and unfortunately some madness from the TAT.
It is still written that the future of tourism in Thailand should be of quality rather than quantity.
In any case, as the situation is and will be for many more months, if not years it will be neither in quantity nor in quality.
Even in domestic tourism it will be very difficult if not impossible to return to the situation before Covid-19.

Chinese scientists have copied my predictions, corona is here to stay and like flu will appear seasonally. The economies wouldn't survive continual shut downs so it's going to be, work and be damned, were all in this together, all around the world workers crowded together on the production lines and the bosses in 200 sq meter air-con offices with no entry signs on the doors. Should go someway to relieve the demographic imbalances as the oldest workers will be the first to succumb to covid-19.

Nothing about making the visas or immigration requirements more attractive. Only that they want "four and five star hotel" type people, and there will be strict health requirements. Haha.

 

Here's my interpretation: "We know coming here's a real pain, and even worse with this virus business. But we do want your money. Please put some in an envelope, and mail it to us. Thanks."
