But more revealingly, they show a president increasingly disconnected from the American electorate whose views have changed rapidly following the May 25 death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man, while in Minneapolis police custody.

Polls are public and selective.  Ballots are private and open to everyone.

I guess it will be a big surprise to everyone again.

I will laugh so hard when Trump gets re-elected.

  • Well, color me surprised!   It's reassuring to know that most Americans take the opposite side of:   -Asking the leader of a hostile Communist nation to help 45 get re-elected

It also shows him steadily bleeding support among a broad swath of voters, even ones that have been most loyal to him such as rural Americans and white evangelicals.   This is absolutely the

I will be surprised if the choose Creepy Joe with the sex assault past, the nepotism, the corruption and Alzheimer's, yes.

It would make the left seem incredibly hypocritical and self-destructive.

I just wanted to comment on Trump's Rally coming up. There are folks camping out to be in the front row. I believe capacity is 19,000 but many more than that are expected. For such a loser (according to some) he sure can pack them in, like a Rock Star. Not sure I can believe the polls.

19000? I was told a million registered their attendance.

There are roughly 230 million people eligible  to vote. Even if only 1 percent of them were enthusiastic Trump supporters, they would be able to fill that arena more than 100 times over.

Which is why folks are camping out to make sure they are front row.

You can downplay it all you want, but hard to deny it's not impressive.

Not even your holy grail and revered news outlet? Fox will be disappointed. Your wriggler room is getting smaller.

What exactly are the attendee numbers. Parscale and Trump are trying to outdo each other with conflicting numbers and the arena only seat 19,200. None of them are capable of telling the truth,

It may be impressive to you, but is it significant?

Just like in the last election Hillary was said to be suffering from Parkinson's. Haven't heard much on that score lately.

First I've heard about Parkinson's I know she had some spasms and maybe collapsed once or twice.

She lost, so it's not news anymore.  That's just the way things are.

However we all should raise a glass to the survival of Donald Trump. Pity it's going to take him 2 hands get that glass to his lips. Barely.

That or the Dems rethink their allegiances and stop fielding candidates that are totally corrupt and only care about the interests of big business.  At least with Trump he's honest about it.  Hillary is like Bush in a pant suit and Biden is like a more handsy Trump with a mental impairment.

The Dems need to stop resting on their laurels and treating the American public like they're stupid and find a decent candidate.

For someone who's not news anymore, Trump fans sure do bring her up a lot. Granted, not them parts where the lies and nonsense spread during the campaign were either false or did not materialize.

At least with Trump he's honest about it.

Sure he is.

"Almost all blacks (87 percent) and most Hispanics (71 percent) see racism as a major threat to the country’s stability, compared to over half of whites (58 percent).  Those numbers roughly match disapproval of Trump on race relations: 88 percent among blacks, 77 percent among Hispanics and 53 percent among whites."

Will Trump even make it to the election?

He’s not just facing defeat, he’s very likely to take the GOP with him.

The clock is ticking, somebody needs to decide on plan B, perhaps start bringing Trump’s visibly failing health into public discussion and open the door for him to withdraw on health grounds.

Wow, now that you have a deep understanding of health issues without any in person examination , can you give us the details of these types of medical issues?

This is typical of the irrational emotional outrage that the leftists deal with. Self anointed powers of mind reading and the expertise of medical professionals.

Interesting to see you're actually posting rather than swamping members with emojis. Plenty of right wingers name 'lefties' as fascists due to their outstanding comprehension of politics - Lol.  Personally i would not include 'Morch' in the leftie or fascist grouping .

Outstanding "comprehension" of their ideology, yes. That's where it ends.

At least now that Bolton's book is officially in the public domain, it might get Trump thinking that time is running out for him.  Trouble is he's too thick skinned to accept it.

Bit strange, not the message I'm getting. Somebody's got it wrong. One thing's for sure, wishing it were so and making it so are not the same. Speaking as an impartial observer. I'm not black and not a US citizen. No doubt your upcoming presidential election will sort it out. What I do notice is a certain media bias. Which can be counter productive in this era when we're all rather media savvy, a proper discussion rather than a one sided tirade is much more likely to persuade swing voters. The converted are gonna vote as they always do, pumping out stuff to make them feel good is pretty useless. This kind of triumphal prose is the worst way to go, it's gonna be a hard fought battle, better to admit that, and address it.

Yeah it's terrible when the media actually report what Trump says and does.

There doesn't need to be bias when Trump provides such easy, low hanging fruit himself.

Turns out they shouldnt have bothered. Trump also had to cancel the outdoor meet and greet due to no one there.
