I actually once applied to attend a Trump rally because it was near me. Now it isn't become I am that avid of a supporter but because I just thought I might want to experience what the atmosphere is really like. I filled out the form and sent it in. I was granted a seat. 

 

However because of my bad back I can not do long lines and waiting. Also the entire town would be blocked off for it. So I never attended and never gave notice. This is a one off fluke. They need to find a way to simply confirm attendants. Trump should do a a mandatory "donation" to confirm a spot. The rest can be first come and first serve. That's checkmate if you are reserving tickets from the free food section of the CHOP zone in Seattle.

 

Again it is less of a mistake than the dems made in Iowa, The government on both sides of the aisle are not prepared to bring the USA into the modern era. Thankfully the corporations are.

It's not a bad analogy. Vote by mail requires no ID, you can not verify who received the mail, and no financial commitment to mail in. Mail or email is the same thing in that regard. 

 

If I wanted Trump to win why not go harvest ballots out of mailboxes and send them in? It's actually easier than hacking emails. If you don't mind committing felonies.

I believe what this "sabotage" shows is the lack of foresight and contingency planning on the part of campaign. If I were working on registration for that rally one of the first things I would ask is "How do we know these registrants will show up? That they are real?" I suppose being surrounded by yes men does have disadvantages as no one dare question superiors. Similar to culture here in Thailand I reckon.

Republicans have had vast experience over the decades with dirty tricks. This registration thing doesn't even reach level of "dirty tricks", just "outsmarting tricks".

I completely agree. However that being said it is a nice problem to have. Biden has 4 people coming and 3 chairs in the gymnasium which is closed due to co vid. 

 

You can read me story of registering for a rally in an earlier post. It is too easy but it worked for a long time. I guess you can expect things to be different the very next time. You are talking on both sides of people near their 80's who don't understand the internet and wouldn't remember that their password is still 1234567 or their birthdays.

Now I know that being a die-hard Trump supporter that you may not get much access to information and your education may not have been top quality but allow me please to explain something; there is the world of difference between making a booking on a free-to-attend booking site for something that you don't plan on attending and voter fraud. The voter fraud one is a serious crime. The booking is not even a misdemeanor.

No they won't. This is why it occurred. During that time it was a rally for Morrison in West Virginia, Not an event for Trump himself. Don't attack me for being the only person on this entire forum that knows how the reservation system for Trump actually works.

 

I suspect for the next event you will need to scan a valid state or federal ID to submit with your application. Just like you should when you vote.

All mail-in votes must, by law be checked and verified. Firstly  the names are checked against the voter rolls and then the signatures are verified, usually against the person's voter registration documents. Also, the people checking the ballots undergo training on how to identify potentially forged  signatures.

 

That's why one of the real disadvantages of mail-in ballots (rather than the imaginary ones) is that they take so much longer to count, because of all the checks that have to be carried out.

 

Even Trump's own Electoral Integrity Commission failed to find any evidence of widespread voter fraud, whether by mail-in ballot or any other method.

Don't think being outsmarted by kids is Trump's main concern. The telling sign of declining support in Tulsa was evident with only about 1/3 filling up the arena. Even if covid is the reason, it show the supporters heeding the seriousness of the pandemic and following the CDC guidelines rather than Trump's innuendo. That is a negative for Trump. The signs are that evangelicals are slowly backing away and the independents and suburban women are abandoning Trump. He is also losing seniors to the virus. If this trend persist, Biden's basement strategy of accepting science to lead and his steady and stable approach towered over Trump's inability to lead and unify.

Indeed well said. Normally I really don't care about US politics but I never seen a president who had less mental capacities as Trump. So I became anti Trump. Plus the guy cant open his mouth without lying and twisting stuff. 

 

I seriously never cared much about who was in charge of the US. In general they were never super bad. That was until Trump. Even Bush Jr (also not bright) was less destructive as Trump.
