UK holiday makers.

Featured Replies

On BBC now.

Four countries only to holiday in without isolation/quarantine on return to UK.

France Spain Italy Germany.

Not only four.....

"Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has said that more than 50 countries - including key destinations such as France, Germany, Italy and Spain - will be on the list of places exempt from England's quarantine requirements from 10 July. The full list will be published later today."

More than that, full list to be published later today.

Watching it now. Applies only to England. Not sure what the other parts of UK will say and when.

One of the important points is will all the countries, to be named later, allow entry and what their entry conditions will be.

France still has quarantine but that should be dropped on Friday. ( midnight )??

Sturgeon has made her bed with her constant gripes about the quarantine. As long as Spain and Germany are included with no quarantine that will be good enough for starters, Vietnam or Malaysia will be good.

Not interested in politics.

Just the information on who can go where and return with minimal hassle.

The people in the UK need to get off their <deleted> and get back to work, stop expecting  the government to pay them for doing <deleted> all, and do this before they start wanting to flit off on holiday.  They also need to stay and start educating their kids, who have also been sitting around doing next to nothing for 4 months.  They don't seem to realise that the UK economy has been trashed and they need to get a grip if it to recover any time soon. That is of course if they have a job to go back to. Strikes me that the UK are living in some kind of alternative reality.
