Well you will be surprised how big a difference 1kW makes ...  I cycle with a power meter (so I can see my power input to the bike) on my crank - Typical 100km ride on flattish roads (road bike) .... about 4 hours ... average power is 140W !

1000 w = 1.34 hp

A typical pro will generate somewhere around 400 to 600 watts

over a sustained period such as a time trial

or climbing a mountain pass.

So should be able to smoke Lance Armstrong,

uphill, on this ?!

the fat tyres makes the ride bearable, it reduces the ferocity

of the pounding of your <deleted> by adding more air cushion

and a wider bigger contact area, it also makes it more stable

when running over a small stone.

i think the biggest catch in spite of those fat tyres is going to be the saddle,

i would do my best to find something with more surface area

to reduce stress on my most innocent tender <deleted>.

this issue aside, i think it is perfect,

it may be possible to go to a big bike saddle maker

and have them make a convenient back seat

another possible catch is i have read cycling

is not a good thing for a bad back, it may be the

bent over formed like a big U back that messes with the back.

since you no longer need to maximize power with legs

it may be a good idea to go to a big bike shop and make a

tall monkey handle bar for better posture, a straight back.

its not very practical if you live in a condo high up,

you would need to carry the battery to your condo

for recharge

It's Chinese.

The tyres defy logic on a vehicle that so lacks power that you need to minimise rolling resistance.

you havnt thought this through

The reason they give the leader a yellow jersey is to remind him what colour his pee is supposed to be.
