papa al Posted August 4, 2020 Author Posted August 4, 2020 Aboot 10-15 years ago papa owned a KTM bike. A tandem; bicycle built for two. Had a special buddy to ride with. 1
rvaviator Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Well you will be surprised how big a difference 1kW makes ... I cycle with a power meter (so I can see my power input to the bike) on my crank - Typical 100km ride on flattish roads (road bike) .... about 4 hours ... average power is 140W ! 1

So should be able to smoke Lance Armstrong, uphill, on this ?! 1 1

Popular Post In the jungle Posted August 4, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 4, 2020 It's Chinese. The tyres defy logic on a vehicle that so lacks power that you need to minimise rolling resistance. 4
VocalNeal Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 OK except for the faggy fat tyres. How does papa identify?

scammed Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 the fat tyres makes the ride bearable, it reduces the ferocity of the pounding of your <deleted> by adding more air cushion and a wider bigger contact area, it also makes it more stable when running over a small stone. i think the biggest catch in spite of those fat tyres is going to be the saddle, i would do my best to find something with more surface area to reduce stress on my most innocent tender <deleted>. this issue aside, i think it is perfect, it may be possible to go to a big bike saddle maker and have them make a convenient back seat another possible catch is i have read cycling is not a good thing for a bad back, it may be the bent over formed like a big U back that messes with the back. since you no longer need to maximize power with legs it may be a good idea to go to a big bike shop and make a tall monkey handle bar for better posture, a straight back. its not very practical if you live in a condo high up, you would need to carry the battery to your condo for recharge 1
