He is not able to listen and learn, just look at all of his failed businesses and the inability to to speak any differently than a kid (covfefe, Yo-sem-ite, anyone?).

Ideally the dumbest person in the US, and the president, should be two different people!

  • I get the impression that the staff at the Whitehouse are starting to hope for a Biden victory next month so they can get out from under this moronic shambles of a "man".

  • Trump is not about learning he's all about showing off and misleading people making light of a horrible calamity that killed and can kill millions while he, like Nero, fiddle his ignorance of the Covi

On the contrary, he's said he strongly wants to help those who need help, not just Dem politicians. No, he's not just the prez of NY, LA, SF but yes, all Americans including those who don't want to bail out Dem politicians to pay off their constituences. You don't really understand what all US means.

So you believe what he is promising. How's that working with the healthcare package to replace Obamacare, or the trade war that was easy to win?

A man of your age blissfully unaware of what politicians do! Not familiar with the breed? Don't tell me: Mr. Smith Goes To Washington is your fave movie of all time. I like to smile at McCain's quip about Obama's State Of The Union address: State Of The Campaign.

Actually, this brings up another thing to like about Thailand: honest bribery that doesn't pretend to be other than what it really is.????

Exactly correct.  The world needs to learn to live with the virus and personally, you need to assess your risk profile and act accordingly. Take some personal responsibility!

Meanwhile, millions of cancer diagnosis get postponed, cardiac events at home causing death happen, worldwide depression skyrockets, suicides soar etc.  How about all the lonely elderly people that were prevented from having loved ones visit.  The list goes on and on about all the other health related incidents that seem to be overlooked by the scare and fear mongers.

So the poor and minorities are supposed to hide out ???? superb idea when they are the front line workers.

Forty percent of people in the USA are obese ????

49 million people are over 65 ????

Countries have control of the virus-its the same strategy as 100 years ago-its not complicated

Yes, Trump is back on his game.  He shrugged off the coronavirus like it was a common cold.

MAGA 2020 guaranteed!

Yep , every time I catch a cold I have the same regime ; Party with friends to spread it a little , an hour or so in an oxygen tent , take a helicopter to hospital for 24 hour care with a team of doctors , take a cocktail of experimental drugs , announce after a while that it was all nothing and say I'm healthier than I was 20 years ago.

The best bit is that all my pet monkeys think I'm wonderful and wish they were as great as me !

So sorry for being the bearer of bad news. His chances for your MAGA 2020 just got worse after the self-destructive debate. Try to collect yourself for more bad news as Trump dives into more clumsy stomach churning brazen attempts to save some face staring at a landslide historic defeat.

You may well be right, however I reckon Trump will win next month. I have given up believing the polls.

Quote: "Yes, Trump is back on his game.  He shrugged off the coronavirus like it was a common cold".

You mean back on his lying game? And....

Covid 19 coronavirus: No, it is not like the flu.....

Mere hours after defiantly advising Americans not to fear the coronavirus or let it "dominate your life," President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday morning with misleading comparisons of Covid-19 to the flu

BUT his comparisons of Covid-19 and the flu stand in sharp contrast to months of data gathered by experts, who have repeatedly said that the coronavirus poses a far more serious threat than influenza viruses.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=12371059

Twitter appended a note to Trump's tweet, saying that it violated the company's rules about spreading false and misleading information about the virus. Facebook removed a similar post from Trump, saying that the company removes incorrect information about the coronavirus.

It is well known that trump is dumb, and it is quite clear that his supporters like to follow his lead.

Hilary Clinton in 2016 was generally disliked by the American public. Cuddly uncle Joe is a totally different proposition. Can't see how Trump can win this time.

Yes. Hit nearly a 30-year low death rate, for Sweden. And they did get off to a rocky, slow start, as reflected in the stats. Too bad it relies so heavily on exports.

And 10 times that of any of its neighbours. Suggesting a country would inflate its Covid fatalities really is from the realms of Qanon conspiracy theory nonsense.

Your 'information' is highly inaccurate.

Apparently reading the 1000 page SSCI Report, produced under the chairmanship of Marco Rubio (R) and the R majority Senate Select Committee, as well as the 440+ pages of the Mueller Report are more than most care to do, so they accept the spin from pol operatives rather than deal with reality.

The Mueller Report, expressly limited by rod rosenstein as to what it could pursue, was damning enough, but the SSCI Report, which had a much broader mandate, is overwhelming in terms of it pointing out the willing and obviously coordination between Russian intel services and 45's campaign.

Russia is also actively working to support 45 again, but 45 himself keeps getting in his own way and latest polls show him down to Biden by the largest gap to date.

It's even becoming conceivable that George McGovern's ignominious record from 1972 (DC and MA only) is firmly in 45's grasp. It is beginning to look like a landslide, plus the Dems retaking the Senate with collins, tillis, gardner, ernst, and mcsally all behind, and even graham and mcconnell looking quite vulnerable.

How is it possible that some people are still believing what is written in Trump's tweets? ????

Still sick Trump on steroids - about Biden -

"Donald J. Trump

He’s been a wacko for years, and everyone knows it. The Lamestream Media is stuck with him and they are just now trying to clean up his act. Notice how all of the bad things, like his very low IQ, are no longer reported? Fake News! #MAGA

"President Donald Trump has tweeted or retweeted content more than 40 times this morning, much of it propagating conspiracy theories about the Obama administration and the Russia investigation."

Where are the men in white?

Relapse, with twice the effects. Maybe in a week we can see this happen to the US Whitehouse.

If Trump and the staff foolish enough to hang close to him get sick again. Som Nom Nah.

Keep dreaming.  Polls aside, Trump has been such a massive failure in dealing with COVID that even the New England Journal of Medicine had to weigh in...

[“When it comes to the response to the largest public health crisis of our time, our current political leaders have demonstrated that they are dangerously incompetent,” the editors wrote. “We should not abet them and enable the deaths of thousands more Americans by allowing them to keep their jobs.”]

[The New England Journal of Medicine, one of the most prestigious medical journals in the world, on Wednesday broke with a nearly two-century tradition of avoiding politics to lambast U.S. politicians for their handling of the coronavirus pandemic.]

Who are you going to believe regarding health issues; scientists and medical experts writing for arguably the most esteemed medical journal in the world, or a "very stable genius"?

I used to think Trump was a genius at one thing and that was marketing his "brand."  But in fact, he was only appealing to a small segment of gullible followers who believed everything he says.  It doesn't take a genius to manipulate idiots.

Oh no..(but a splendid post)..Trump and his team was the first to truly recognize and embrace the Ozarkians in many a long year..it was an act of political genius at the time.

They were lurking out there in large numbers and they were truly a potent force if galvanized into activity..and remain so despite evidence provided by the Inter-Galactic Committee on Human Irrationality to the contrary.

Largest part of his base are old, white evangelicals who watch Fox, and they already had a propensity for believing nonsense.

Agree with the second sentence/part of your post however I have to wonder how "rat cunning" one has to be to have so many bankruptcies and failed companies, have to pay off one of his "hookers", and get fined for stealing from one of his "charities"?

And there is yet more to come when he vacates that position he is currently in.........

Alan Bond was a British-born entrepreneur that was similar to Trump. Liar and thief, went to jail eventually. He used to say " If you owe the bank 1 million dollars, you have a problem. If you owe the bank 100 million dollars, it's the bank that has the problem".

The New England Journal of Medicine on Wednesday, in an unprecedented editorial, denounced the [45] administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and called for voting out “current political leaders” who are “dangerously incompetent.”

The harshly worded editorial is the first time the prestigious medical journal, which usually stays out of politics, has weighed in on an election.
