Magic Mouse

Featured Replies

Can anybody tell me how I can zoom out using my Magic Mouse.

If I hold down the command button and scroll it will zoom in , and scroll back it will zoom out again but only to the original size .

I want to be able to zoom out without zooming in.

Just in general. newspapers , media whatever.

If I want to do a capture sometimes I need to zoom out to get the capture all in the same screen .

Command shift 4 will only let you capture what is on the screen , you cannot scroll so zoom out is the only option .

That'll be tough. Trackpad can pinch to zoom in/out, but Magic Mouse can't do that. It has something called "Smart Zoom" which most people want to switch off as it's darn annoying. You can click on something and it zooms it, click again and it zooms out.

Found this on Apple's site that shows all that's available on the mouse. As said, trackpad can do what you wish, mouse can't.

The problem here is "Apple". Either get a proper mouse, or get a proper browser.

Firefox has a built in option to take a screenshot of the whole page, not only the visible area, on Chrome that's possible by using an extension.

Regrettably you will need to switch to a Logitech mouse for that.

It really depends on exactly what you want to do with it. Logitech has mice with up to 7 different buttons that can be programmed.

Most people do not want or need that many and the Magic Mouse is perfect for the majority.

For those who want more you need to buy a different one.
