Geez, they absolutely, positively, most definitely killed this song on AM radio.  Roberta Flack with the title track of her '73 Killing Me Softly With His Song LP.

More power!

By chance, have you got any indecent pics of her that you could share, jvs?  LOL

Dee Dee Sharp with her '62 single Mashed Potato Time.

Jacqui McShee and Pentangle live on the Granada Set Of Six show with a selection of songs off of their '72 Solomon's Seal album.

Steeleye Span featured an unusual lineup of two female vocalists, Maddy Prior and Gay Woods.  One of my favourite numbers is Go From My Window off of their '96 Time release.

Sandy Denny and Fairport Convention with Matty Groves off of their '69 Liege & Lief album.

Sandy rates at least a ten star so she gets added airtime.  A Sailor's Life off of Fairport Convention's '69 Unhalfbricking LP.

Sandy Denny's Who Knows Where The Time Goes version recorded with Fairport Convention, also off of their '69 Unhalfbricking LP.

A very worthy first demo of Who Knows Where The Time Goes.

Sandy Denny with Fotheringay performing Nothing More live on the Beat Club in '70.

Sandy with the Johnny Silvo Folk Four on The 3:10 To Yuma off of their '67 Sandy And Johnny album.

Celia Humphris of Trees with Lady Margaret off of their '70 The Garden Of Jane Delawney debut LP.

My father used to play this song back in the 70s.

The Dubliners share the stage with the Pogues on The Irish Rover for the '87 The Late Late Show Tribute celebrating the band's 25th Anniversary.  Shane MacGowan puffin' on a fag at the start.  LOL  And that's Shane MacGowan pre-falsies, LOL.

Hey bannork, someone used your nick in the comments section of the อวยพรให้แฟน - จินตหรา พูนลาภ  I'm jealous.  No one has ever tried to impersonate me yet.

Associative thought process.  Just another way of ordering experience.  Happens all the time.  With music it usually works in the reverse for me.  Oftentimes when I hear a song I get not only visual memory flashes but the feeling of that time is recreated, too.

I get memory flashes of where I bought particular albums and singles. Some I had to scrimp and save the money to buy them or hunt some down at record fairs. I don't have too many recollections when it comes to CDs.

Buffy Sainte-Marie's albums were a pain to collect. In the shops and fairs I had to look through the bins marked 'B' 'S' and 'M'. Then, I had to search under 'Female' 'Folk' 'Country' 'C&W' 'Rock' 'Contemporary'. Not many sales staff had heard of her or how to categorise her albums so I ended up nearly going through the whole Fair's or shop's stock.

 Folk.

The backing vocals reminded me of this fun song.

My first ever single. If I was upstairs at home when it came on the radio my mum would shout to me and I'd go running downstairs and press my ear to the radio and turn the volume up.

I forgot I made that comment. A comment I made on Hendrix's Ezy Rider 4 years has 1.7 k likes! I'm surprised as it's rather over the top, commenting when under the influence of a few pints, lol

I've mentioned before that I always find it interesting reading the video comments section, LOL.  Anyways, kudos to you for your ability to read and write passa Thai.

I used to listen to this a lot on a big stereogram when I was a kid. Mum had the single but never had the time to play it.
