One more from me.  A favourite.  Only A Hobo by Rod Stewart off of his '70 Gasoline Alley album.

Alvin Lee takes his turn on something with a lit more drive with Ain't Nothin' Shakin' from the Night Of The Guitars extravaganza at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on Nov. 26, '88.

A stunning performance by Alvin above.

Below, Leo Lyons determined to give his all too.

This is an oldie from the 1930s remade in the 60s I guess???

Train journeys are wonderful, ever changing scenery passing before our eyes, as we relax, letting the train take the strain.

Happy Birthday Bryan Ferry. He could sure write a good tune.

Growing up in Chicago then the City Of New Orleans version I'll always remember first is Steve Goodman's as he was a Chicago product and the writer of the tune.  I happened to be in a far northside bar back in '79 with a local band on stage.  Turns out Goodman was found to be in the audience so they coaxed him up on stage.  It was a local treat for me.

Then there's this excellent version from The Highwaymen from the live show, American Outlaws: Live at Nassau Coliseum, '90.
