I posted this just recently on the Ladies Theme but Sandy is always good with me.  Recorded on 22 March, 26 April '67, in London, 3:10 To Yuma, appearing on her '70 compilation album of '67 material.

Credited to Hedy West, 500 Miles, aka the Railroaders' Lament, has been done up by just about every folk artist in the early 60's.  I enjoy the harmonies by The Seekers on this one, not to mention the footage that the song is set to.  Off of their '64 self-titled second album.

First saw GT on the Old Grey Whistle Test and later bought the first three of his albums. Then saw him doing this number for the Live Aid event and thought he was the best ass-kickingly act of the whole event.
