COVID Vaccine..............................

Featured Replies

If 200,000 doses become available March 2021 to Thai nationals as reported, when can foreigners expect to get jabbed?

. . .  Or the better question is, HOW or WHERE can foreigners register for the vaccine?

Any advice would be appreciated.

69+ million thais.  Do the math......

A foreign nationals best chance for the next year or so is go back to nation of origin and get in line.

private hospitals might be importing at any time, but vax has to be approved by thai ministry.

I would expect the first direct import within month, after an initial fiasco with one of bkk hospitals.

As they would be imported in small batches (this hospital wanted only 1k vax), to it would be expensive.

This hospital put 500% markup, so the others might try to charge as much.

personally I would wait until, at least, there is a choice of vax, not just the first one coming.

Private hospitals and clinics will buy it somehow and offer it up at an appropriately high price.

Thanks Don...Just what I thought.  The Private sector once registered will start doing their own thing.

According to the article 200,000 in February, Another 800,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine will arrive by March and one million in April, Supakit Sirilak, Director-General of Medical Science Department, said on Sunday.

There's 70+ million people in Thailand.  Do the math ! ! !
