I hope 45 continues to divide - the GOP. If he goes forth with "The Patriot Party," the GOP can kiss its aging butt goodbye. And, if he does this, taking all the crazies with him, what THEN will the remaining five Republicans do?

If he does try to take revenge on these members of congress, it means the dems will have a better chance of picking up more seats.

 

Portman just announced he won't run for reelection in 2022, and the governor in AZ isn't going to make a challenge there in November. 

 

The GOP's falling apart.

If the GOP falls apart, they can blame them selves for being behind Trump for as lond as

they were. I hope people like Ted Crus, and other Trump supporters all get voted out

of their careers locally, but seeing the people in Texas recently who still are Trump

supporters, I doubt that this will happen, at least for 3 years, as it takes that long

for some of the brain washing to wear off.  I just hope that the future is very

dark for Donald Trump.

You are misinformed.  Clark did convince Trump.  But the senior leadership at DOJ told Trump they would resign en masse if Trump went through with it.  That's the only reason Trump relented.
