An upbeat Taweesin Visanuyothin said the public and tourism operators should contact the authorities if they have any bright ideas.

Taweesin had just announced the easing of restrictions on sporting events and transit at Suvarnabhumi and appeared full of the joys of spring as Thailand emerges from the second wave of the pandemic.

He spoke of something called "Yacht Quarantine" which is being considered and will allow yacht owners to quarantine on their vessels for 14 days.

Crew will be able to quarantine at home before joining the vessel.

"Anyone who has got any bright ideas - such as Villa Quarantine - is welcome to contact us", he said. "Maybe tourism operators have suggestions that we can approve.

"Just tell us," he told business media.

Thailand missed out.., now wants it’s own ‘Diamond Princess’ !!!!

The ideas are getting silly.

They haven’t even got the golf quarantine property sorted yet (other than one tour group from Korea) - 6 golf course for quarantine, only  1 with any information.
