Thailand's Consumer Protection Police Division arrested an alleged quack doctor who was working at a clinic in Din Daeng, Bangkok.

Arrested at a house in Soi Nong Yai 14 was Thanaphiphat, 41, known as "Dr Dam".

He has been charged with negligence causing serious injury, operating without a licence, and selling and administering pharmaceutical drugs illegally.

The arrest followed a complaint from two people who had "filler and Botox" treatments at the clinic.

The first suffered face pain and nose inflammation producing pus.

But the second was far more serious. After suffering pain around the base of both eyes and vomiting, they had impaired vision and were taken by relatives to a hospital near the clinic where they had the original treatment.

The patient was found to be blind in their right eye.

An initial police investigation found that things were being done at the clinic that did not have the required licences.

Dr Duck would have been fitting if he was a quack ..

Either way he's ducked now ..

Absolute disgrace, someone now has to live the rest of their life with impaired vision.

Hopefully a custodial sentence and large financial settlement will be applied.

That's why there are thousands of beauty clinics everywhere.
