PHUKET: A 25-year-old man died after his car hit a roadside power pole at high speed in Koh Kaew last night (Mar 10).

Police were called to the scene, on Thepkrasattri Rd, about 100 metres north of the Bang Khu Intersection, just after 11:30pm.

Rescue workers and police arrived to find a white Toyota Yaris, registered in Phuket, with heavy damage.

At least he only killed himself in his stupidity, didn't take out anyone else. A blessing :wai:

I can't have feelings for everyone who kills themselves driving at speeds they cant handle! Sorry!

I guess he couldn’t afford tiger’s rental car...

actions has consequences...I see these Darwin types on the road all the time...suped up small engines in low quality cars weaving in and out of traffic thinking driving is a video game...

use as a teaching tool to his peers on how not to drive until it sinks in...unfortunately, it won’t sink in...

At least he only took himself off the road...

At least he didn't take someone else's life. Drivers like this will meet their fate sooner or later.

Agreed but he only lost their life by being stupid. Contary to common beliefe most Thai drivers are not in Formula 1

hmmmm... .....stupid is what stupid does?

It amazes me when I see the results of these accidents.

I rarely see cars mangled in this way at home, yet it seems to be so common in Thailand,

You have to be going at some speed to wrap these cars around posts like they do.
