March 23, 20214 yr Popular Post I think the Thai people have been very patient on this. There's a lot of suffering going on and serious financial hardship (not in Prayuts accounts though). It would not surprise me at all to see riots before too long if Prayut doesn't do something to get tourism running again.

I just read in the guardian that they will give us a top up vaccine as soon as the autumn for the 3rd wave variant. Furthermore a jab ecery year like the flu jab should allow the world to return to normality
March 24, 20214 yr I am sure I read that only tourists with a covid vaccine will be exempt (starting Oct 01) from an otherwise mandatory quarantine. Also, quarantine will be reduced to 10 days starting April 01.

March 24, 20214 yr Despite all the announcements over the last few months, 1 October has been the most consistent date given. Even the latest 10 day quarantine, due to start in a few days, comes with conditions - conditions we don't know the details of yet and could make it a non starter for many. I suspect that 1 October has been the plan all along but even that will depend on how the virus is going and you can be sure there will be conditions. I very much doubt that it will be business as normal on 1 October.
