A deputy commander at Muang Phetchaburi police station tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday after he went to Maya Pub in Hua Hin on March 30th.

He is Pol Lt-Col Patiwat Wichian.

Station commander Pol Col Wanchai Khaoram issued a directive for 35 officers at the station to quarantine at home from yesterday to 21st April, a period of 14 days, reported Sanook.

The Maya pub and a Korean restaurant have been named as the center of clusters responsible for dozens of cases of Covid in Hua Hin in Prachuap Khirikhan province that borders Phetchaburi.

What a shame after what's be done so far there are still complacent people spreading variants.

Just as was looking forward to a trip down to Prachuap Khiri khan beaches.
