Pattaya car paint booth ? Where do they paint a car properly in a booth around Pattaya ? Any idea ?

Can you tell me where you have painted your car and have seen the booth yourself ?

Thanks.

This place did a very good job on my wife's car.  I can't say I saw the paint booth but then I wouldn't have been looking for it.  But may be worth checking out.

if you do not even check that they have a paint booth before letting them work on your car, I am not sure that people can rely on your opinion that their job was great...

Most people do not know that a paint booth is required to do a good job...

While a paint booth is not required to do a "good job" it is certainly easier to using a paint booth.

Why do you assume body & paint shops would not have a booth?

I've been here 19 years, had  Toyota pickup, four Isuzu pickups and a Fortuner.

Most of them had body & paint work of some kind. I've used four different shops in two provinces.

You?

There is no proper paint shop with paint booth around Pattaya !

There are several bodywork shops around Pattaya that have separate, enclosed spray painting areas that are climate controlled and dust-proof that are very busy doing paint jobs under insurance claims.

I am pretty sure that any one of these would qualify as 'proper paint shop with paint booths'.

A friend recently had his RX7 painted by the lads at Storm Garage Pattaya, they have a nice modern spray both and use PPG paints.

Most people know that to get a good paint job in humid weather is to use a climate controlled paint booth.

are you for real ?

I have been here 20 years and the number of paint shop with proper booth that I have seen can be counted on less than 2 hands...

you are talking as if it was the rule here, you are so funny.

You should get out more..many shops these days have paint booths.

The place in Chonburi City that painted my Skoda has 3 paint booths, all installed in the past 5 years.

I saw on You Tube that some are now using custom vinyl applique rather than paint.  A computer controls cutting the vinyl according to the exact model car panels.  The video showed it being done to a motorcycle...pretty tricky application process.

160k for an old Japanese car ?! is it for real ?!

160k is a decent price for the result, did not include the under carriage though.

Similar paint job back in his home country he reckons would be atleast double that.

So ? Nobody who doesn't enjoy being scammed (160k hahahahahahaha can't stop laughing !) knows where they use a proper booth ?

But I am actually quite positive, because it's already good that for 160k they use a booth (if true!) !

no paint job in Thailand in a correct paint booth can cost more than 100k. I know plenty of Thai driving very expensive cars and nobody ever paid more. At the same time I do not know any buffalo, so I could be wrong ????

Think he wants the $199 special - cheap paint, cheap prep, poor quality.

But it's Cheap !!!

Quality costs - some would not know quality if it was staring them in the face
