French embassy in Bangkok says vaccination of its citizens in Thailand has not been finalised

The French embassy in Bangkok has issued a statement saying the process of procuring vaccines for its citizens in Thailand has not yet been finalised and that it is too soon to make any announcement on the matter.

Vaccination of employees in social security scheme to resume on Monday

Widow thinks husband’s death may be linked to AZ vaccine

The family of a 60-year old man, Pruettichai Makphol, from Thailand’s southern province of Krabi, who died three days after he received the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine on June 8th, is waiting for a clear explanation from doctors about the exact cause and whether it was linked to the vaccination.

Most parents do not want their children to return to school yet

Over 70% of parents do not want their children to go back to school yet, as  COVID-19 infections are still rising, while 39% suggest the new school term be postponed further, until the pandemic situation has improved, according to Bangkok Poll, conducted by the research centre of Bangkok University.

Residents barricade their community in Nakhon Si Thammarat against COVID-19

CICM and Central Lab Thai sign MOU to develop marijuana and hemp testing

BANGKOK (NNT) - Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University (CICM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (Central Lab Thai) to develop the means of testing both THC and CBD for the purpose of supporting the commercial sale of marijuana and hemp, both domestically and internationally.

AstraZeneca side-effects mostly found in people of working age

Thai Prime Minister announces on social media easing of some Bangkok Covid-19 restrictions, states Phuket Sandbox will move forward on July 1st

The Thai Prime Minister this evening (June 12th) has “unofficially” announced on his Facebook page to ease some restrictions in Bangkok around Covid-19 and stated that the Phuket Sandbox will proceed on July 1st after some further adjustments to the plan by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) and the Thai Cabinet.

31 people arrested at night club in Thonglor, Bangkok for allegedly violating Covid -19 measurements

31 people have been arrested at a nightclub in Thonglor, Bangkok today (June 12th) during a raid by Thonglor police while allegedly drinking alcohol, socializing, and partying. Thonglor Police stated the group was violating Bangkok orders to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.
