Pattaya – An unidentified man reportedly opened fire from his vehicle in public next to Jomtien beach early yesterday morning (June 26th).

First, a video version of this news is below:

The Pattaya City Police were notified of the incident at 2:30 A.M. at the entrance of Soi 3 Jomtien Beach in Pattaya only a few hundred meters from the Pattaya City Police box on Dongtan branch. This police box had just recently become a 24-hour a day sub-station for the police as you can read about here.

Police officers and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Mr. Prapan Pimpa, 32, and his girlfriend who were frightened as a result of the incident.

2:30 AM...

One more data point.  The wee hours are best spent sleeping.

The police take a dim view of being woken up so early and by loose cannons especially  ????

Somebody very unhappy.

Just call in all the cops who were off duty at the time and inspect their weapons/magazines. Wouldn't be surprised to find one whose weapon had been recently fired and was missing a few bullets.

AKA a Den of Iniquity staffed by greedy, grasping, lazy lay-abouts.  I was in a room there when the guy behind the desk asked for 10K to prosecute a clear case of car theft.

No night time curfew then?

For unidentified read Thai.

Probably the mayor preparing for the Pattaya sandbox. I'm surprised Pucket haven't already picked up on it

Could harm the "QUOTE" "extremly possitive image " ???????????? it's dead and this guy just killed it more ??

I'm getting the impression that an increasing number of people are becoming unhinged. Hardly surprising considering the widespread hardship.

come to the new  family orientated Pattaya  free body armour with every booking

Jeez.............you can't do anything nowadays without someone getting on your back.

Not sure about the mayor but the deputy mayor has a restaurant a stone's throw from there.
