Naew Na reported that Pol Col Samer Yusamran of the Muang Prachuap Khiri Khan police, DOPA officials, soldiers and other officials had arrested six Myanmar nationals who had sneaked across the border into Thailand.

One of the women had an eight month old baby with her.

They had been led across the border by an agent for a gang involved in the illegal movement of migrant workers called "Nae Ao".

The agent left them on the Thai side where they were due to be picked up but they were arrested first.

They had paid 15,000 baht for work to be arranged for them and were headed to a factory in Samut Sakhon.

Officials put them in 14 day Covid-19 quarantine after which they will be prosecuted by the Prachuap Khiri Khan authorities.

Prosecuted send a factory in Samut Sakhon who had paid the 15,000 each, and more 15.000 for police investigation.

And how many do they NOT catch? Or have to pay a 'blind eye' fee to enter Thailand.

Find the agent and hang him. Human traffickers are the worst scum...preying on the weak and poor.

So Samut Sakhon factories are still giving illegals work... time to get tough and jail some company owners.
