Replacement windshield Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

My 2007 Toyota Vigo needs a replacement windshield. Major crack which is way beyond repair.

Would appreciate info on any, preferably mobile, replacement windshield services in Chiang Mai city area.

Also, likely cost if anyone has recent experience.

Many thanks

Daang Khrong Pratuu is a good shop that does windshield replacement.

had new windscreen fitted at Pro Auto, Toyota Yaris, 4,500bt including fitting, we always use this place for servicing etc.

Did he do it in his shop or take it out to his friend who has a shop specializing in auto glass?

This place....right outside the entrance road to Big C...Not Big C Extra but the Big C near Promenada

I'm back in UK, my wife took it, we had a few more bits done, he brought it back the next Day, so probably took it elsewhere.

Thanks --- I can't read the Thai sign, do they actually do screen replacements on site there do you know?

I had my windshield repaired by the place that Meechai indicated, near the Big C   Don Chan

Actually it is located right on the corner coming out of Big C just as you make the left turn.   Right there at the turn.    It looks like a small place, but they have plenty of space.    I had a big chip in the windshield.    Was told I didn't need a new whindshield, a repair would suffice.     That was like 3 or 4 years ago.    No problem since.

I would recommend that place.    And yes, they do the job on site.

Sounds like a good shop to be remembered.  I would certainly take my auto glass problems to a specialist shop like that and not to a guy whose primary business is selling tires.  Be brave, step out, you can do more with little or no Thai language than you think, when you show you often do not need the tell.
