Thonburi Healthcare Group (THG) on Friday confirmed in a note to the Stock Exchange of Thailand that it is working with overseas dealers to procure 20 million doses of mRNA vaccine.

 

THG sent the clarification to the SET following a Reuters’ report on Thursday in which BioNTech and Pfizer denied they were in talks with the hospital.

 

“The news may cause confusion as inquiries have been made to the vaccine manufacturer,” said THG secretary Suwadee Puntpanich in the statement.

I really hope you'll get your shots, this year at that. I refused to pay my deposit with them because they have shown nothing substantial yet, it's just talk about approving things left and right. Hopefully, I'm wrong...

This caused THG’s share price to jump over 13 per cent on Thursday before slowing down and ending the day with a 6 per cent jump.

As of Friday midday, THG stock traded at 32.75 baht, up 3.97 per cent, with a transaction value of 400.8 million baht.

The Securities and Exchange Commission also said THG’s directors should stop making public statements which might influence stock price.

 

Nothing to do with public health, just puffing up the share price for the wealthy......

They're going to take a big hit when the government comes along and cancels their plans.

Blatant Share price manipulation.

They should be thrown out of the SET.

They will not even be able to order any Vaccines, as Manufacturers are dealing with Governments only.

Still not ordered.

Trying to figure out there cut without being completely obvious in case they get arrested in the next coup.

Surely, this is an Elon Muskism... We will bring in the vaccine, thus pushing up share prices 14% to 20%. 

 

Then we shall see what happens when the companies state, again, that they are not in negotiation with this group, nor were they ever. Then the chairman will state, yet again, we were in negotiations, but not directly. Meaning, we were going to syphon off from what the government got, when they got it.

 

Fake news, fraud, lying to the stockmarket. Blimey. Time for the ex chairman to write his book now.
