Hello, just to have your opinion

 

there is a graphic card AMD 8 go, sold 90 € ( 3500 baht ) 

the same ( ? ) at Amazon or somewhere else, about 9  times more expensive

so the Ali one is a fake, but is it good nevertheless, even if it's not the same quality than the original ? 

 

 

I bought a Rolls Royce Phantom at the local tent dealer, much cheaper even though it's not the same quality as the original. 

Come on, you get what you pay, or do not, pay for.

Get back in a month or so when you have no graphics..............oh, you can't!

I would not buy it.

There are many fake cards around, and no they don't perform even remotely in an acceptable way. 8 Go is probably a chip that is reporting fake memory capacity along with fake brand and model.

You'd be lucky if the card was better than your onboard graphics.

Suggest you do not take the risk.

ok, thanks everybody  ... I just wanted to know you opinion ; for everything  computer related , I always buy famous brands ( btw, graphics cards are very expensive )

And many guys buy far faster = more expensive cards than they really need.

man y cards not availabe due to global chip shortage

The fakes are effectively $30 cards rebadged.

All over Lazada for 2,000bht.

True, but when you got a really fast card some games are absolutely amazing. But yes if your not playing games its not needed. I play games at times especially now must say its a pleasure playing games in 4k on a 42.5 inch display in highest settings. 

Thai Customs has clamped down on stuff people order which is fulfilled from outside of Thailand.

 

Many, many, many reports here, on FB and Thai social media.

 

A new law takes effect 1 Sep regarding the collection of VAT, mostly re: "online services", but the big online retailers have been said to agree to register and collect VAT.

 

For now, I would approach any off-shore purchase with caution.

no, graphic cards are not necessarily expensive, it just depends on what you want to do with it
